"Tim Proctor, Diageo's senior lawyer, was on a brief visit to the London office from the US where he's based. The Lawyer, the legal trade journal, wanted to profile him in the magazine and needed an interesting portrait to go with the article. As the time available was very limited, Ian came in early and set up the shot so that everything was ready before Tim arrived. Ian explained the idea behind the picture and was able to engage with Tim very quickly by showing him the images on the back of the digital camera screen. I think that Tim enjoyed the process and we were certainly delighted with the results"
