I learned to ride a motorbike before I could drive a car. It started out as a practical thing but I soon discovered how much fun it was

I'm now on my second big BMW (the first was stolen for use in two armed robberies) with the topbox, panniers & Bluetooth helmet intercoms; it's been great for when I've toured Northern Europe visiting all the major photography galleries and still is for when Susan & I head for a nice hotel (Susan likes a nice hotel) in Amsterdam or Ghent

It's also fantastic for around town; I can pack it with kit and be anywhere in London very quickly, handy for those 'emergency jobs' for PR clients who've just realised they haven't booked a photographer
