The private view of my 2024 exhibition went very well - a large number of very stylishly dressed guests were in attendance, as well as cohorts of photographer friends, clients, family members & neighbours. Wine was served in generous measure and sales of framed prints were correspondingly high ('coincidence is not causation' but in this case there's probably a relationship). My remarks were well received (my thanks to Phil Allport for the photo) - they laughed, they cried, they applauded - but you really can't go wrong with a well-chosen Oscar Wilde quote, in this case; 'Looking good and dressing well is a necessity. Having a purpose in life is not'.
