Sam Evans is a music director, singer, teacher & conductor of choirs & operas (samevansmusic.net). He called at very short notice about photography of a rehearsal & performance by Harrow Choral Society and happily I was able to oblige. It's a delight to photograph people who are passionate about what they do and he is certainly that, as are the choir ('We are still in awe and we all love you for making us look so good'); he's also a thoroughly nice bloke who had time for everyone and not once did he even hint that I should get plenty of shots of him, though how could I not? He made life very simple for me as you can see here - all I had to do was get him in focus and my new Canon 5D MkIV did a fantastic job in very low light.
